About the Role The Event Manager will own the end-to-end production of Dorsia's large-scale events, working closely with internal teams and external production partners to bring ambitious concepts to life. This role is responsible for translating creative vision into flawless executionoverseeing timelines, budgets, vendors, and on-the-ground operations. You'll serve as the connective tissue between Brand, Partnerships, Membership, and external production companies, ensuring every event meets Dorsia's standards for quality, taste, and member experience. What You'll DoEvent Production & Execution Own end-to-end production for Dorsia events, from concept handoff through post-event wrap Lead execution of large-scale, multi-stakeholder events including brand moments, member events, and cultural partnerships Translate creative concepts and brand vision into detailed production plans, run-of-show documents, and timelines Oversee all on-site execution, including load-in, show flow, guest experience, and strike Vendor & Production Partner Management Manage relationships with external production companies, vendors, and freelancers Scope, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts including AV, staging, lighting, fabrication, dcor, staffing, security, and catering Ensure production partners deliver on scope, budget, timeline, and brand expectations Act as primary point of contact between Dorsia and external production teams Budgeting & Operations Own event production budgets, tracking spend and ensuring alignment with financial goals Identify opportunities to scale production efficiently without compromising quality Manage production schedules, asset tracking, and logistics across multiple events Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Brand Marketing, Partnerships, Membership, and Comms to align event goals and storytelling Work closely with internal creative teams to ensure physical environments reflect Dorsia's aesthetic and tone Collaborate with Membership and Ops teams to ensure guest experience and hospitality execution are seamless Experience & Quality Control Act as a steward of the Dorsia brand in physical spaces, ensuring events feel premium, intentional, and thoughtfully curated Anticipate risks and proactively problem-solve in fast-moving, high-pressure environments Own post-event recaps, learnings, and recommendations to continuously improve future executions The Winning Recipe 610 years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, or live events Proven experience producing large-scale, high-production events with external vendors or agencies Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong project management skills Calm, decisive, and solutions-oriented under pressure Strong taste level and instinct for premium hospitality, culture, and brand environments Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously Willing to be hands-onno task is too small when it comes to event execution Skills & Experience Deep knowledge of event production workflows, vendor

Job Description The Stagehand is crucial to every equipment-based aspect of a live event. These include and are not limited to stage components, lighting equipment, sound system gear, backline, video and backdrop scenery. This equipment must be must be delivered, unloaded, assembled, arranged, operated, repaired, replaced, maintained, dismantled, striked and loaded out in an efficient, orderly manner. • You will be handling various configurations of the above items before, during and after concerts, festivals, theatrical productions, exhibitions, competitive events and more. Duties and Responsibilities • Meet with project lead and receive instructions, tasks and assignments. • Unload equipment from trucks, vans and trailers and transport to the appropriate staging areas. • Assemble lighting trusses, hang lighting fixtures, run all power and control cables. • Assemble ground support systems, stages, trusses and scaffolding. • Position speakers, side fills and monitors. • Conduct secure and safe runs for power, XLR, monitor and main cables to and from snake, sound board and main power inputs as directed. • Assemble and install background scenery, artistic props, lighting screens, design elements and upstage banners. • Upon completion of event, strike and disassemble all equipment, pack into appropriate cases and load back into delivery and/or touring vehicles. • During event, work as stage crew, spotlight operator or assistant to audio, video, lighting departments heads and stage manager as needed. Required Traits and Skills • Ability to stand for extended periods of time as well as crouch, crawl, climb, sit, walk and kneel. • A fundamental grasp on common sense and the willingness to utilize it through problem solving and good judgement. • A thorough understanding of standard safety requirements and protocols. • Ability to operate motorized equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts as well as hand-held power tools such as drills, screw guns, saws and the like. • Capability with audio/visual equipment is a plus -- including projectors, screens, small audio systems. • Must be able to stay on task in the midst of interruptions, noise, visual distractions and inclement weather. • Ability to maintain composure under tight deadlines and time constraints. • Integrity to stay on task in the absence of supervision. • Flexibility to work in remote locations during unconventional times (overnight shifts) and extended periods. • Ability to respond to work calls with minimal notice and to arrive to event site on time. Qualifications • One year of experience in professional live event production or related trades preferred. • Basic skills in carpentry, electrical or audio engineering.
